John Leslie Art Prize 2022

A recent. trip to the fabulous Gippsland Art Gallery to view the John Leslie Art Prize, it’s Gippslands Art Gallery’s biennial $20,000 Acquisitive Prize for Landscape Painting.

Always great to see the range of landscapes included in the show, anything from urban, aerial, imaginary, nocturnal to forests, mountains and coastal. The standard seems to be reaching new heights. Here’s some of my favourites.
